"The hotel room we got throught this service was a horrible room with dirty floors, dirty mildew bathrooms, terribly bad water stained ceilings and brown water out of the sinks and showers. The workout room was old and dirty with most of the equipment broken. Certainly not 3 star quality and not like the other Shilo Hotels I have stayed at. The front desk upgraded our room for the second night but did not seem surprised when I was completely discusted with the room. She did put us in the other building and upgraded us with out too much hassel. But I won't be using this service to reserve any more rooms."

The fitness center is stocked with modern workout machinery ideal for most types of regiments (stationary bike, universal weight machine, and stair stepping). After a tough workout, relax and soak in the hot tub.
Every morning, guests of the Shilo Inn can enjoy a deluxe complimentary breakfast for some rate plans. Additionally, fresh fruit, popcorn, and coffee are available in the lobby. The on-site restaurant has an extensive menu of continental and American cuisine. The Sports Den serves espresso, liqueur, and fine wine. Cigar and pipe smoking are permitted in the Sports Den, but the restaurant is completely non-smoking.
Business services include fax and photocopy, audio/visual equipment arrangement, catering, and event planning. There is guest laundryroom on site and the hotel offers valet laundry service. Nightly turndown service is also available.
The hotel is located near plenty of conveniences and attractions. Within two miles of the hotel are Washington Park Zoo, Japanese Rose Gardens, and Forestry Center. Hoyt Aboretum, Portland Meadows, and Chinatown are also nearby.
Each room features cable television with free HBO, coffeemaker, hairdryer, microwave, and refrigerator.
